Our time in Port Douglas (Part 2)

Welcome to part 2 of our time in Port Douglas!

Last time, we ended the adventure just when we were about to go into the airport so that's where we'll start off.

When we entered to airport we got a gust of hot air before it went back to normal temp (That's because outside it's hot and inside it's cold).

We go to the toilet before quickly heading to the baggage collection.

We pick up our bag and then we go outside to then follow a blue line that goes out to the shuttle bus that takes us to the car hire place.

After a ten minute drive, we arrive at the car hire place and we hire a Toyota.

It takes a while to go through all the paperwork but eventually dad finishes and we head out to our car.

We first take the car to the Cairns shopping center to get some food.

I get some Vietnamese food, same as mum but Tom and Dad got a wrap. Christopher got nothing.

We head back to the car to start the 1hr drive to Port Douglas.

When we arrive, we check in and then we head to our rooms.

After about an hour of relaxing, we put our bathers on and go for a swim in the pool.

We then have dinner (which was pizza) before have some tech time and then we went  to sleep.

The next day was a relax day. We went to the pool, went into town, ate breakfast and chilled.

The next day was another chill day but now lets talk about the exciting days.

The first exciting day was going to Mossman Gorge. I didn't go but what i heard from Mum was that it was great. "It was really fun because there was a pool there" Tom said.

The second most exciting day was going up to Kuranda.

We woke up at 7 to get ready and then headed down to the train station which was in Cairns

(We were heading up on the Kuranda Scenic Runway). When we got to the train station we got our tickets and then went on the train going to Kuranda.

 When we got there, we had some food and then we went to the skyrail.

When we where travelling on the skyrail, we had a guide telling us about the nature below. After we finished the skyrail, we took a uber to get to our car and then headed home.
